This mission drives both our client work and the way we are building our own business. When we started Trailblaze Partners, we had a clear founder's vision of the opportunities we wanted to create for ourselves and our team. We wanted to build a business that served our lifestyle and goals without consuming every available minute. We wanted to focus on quality over quantity. And we wanted to be a role model for other entrepreneurs and business owners who aspire to nurture a high performing culture that empowers its employees and is fun to be part of.

When we started Trailblaze Partners, we had a clear founder's vision of the opportunities we wanted to create for ourselves and our team. We wanted to build a business that served our lifestyle and goals without consuming every available minute. We wanted to focus on quality over quantity. And we wanted to be a role model for other entrepreneurs and business owners who aspire to nurture a high performing culture that empowers its employees and is fun to be part of.

With that in mind, we checked-in on our original vision and realized we weren't living up to our aspirations. We were high-performing but we were burning out and losing sight of our intention to build an organization that filled our buckets rather than depleting them. We needed to redesign our culture with time to engage and innovate as a team and time to learn and recover on our own. That realization led us to ask some tough questions and course correct by white boarding a list of exciting ways to take better care of ourselves and our team. Our Recharge Program was born!

The Recharge Program spells out all the ways we invest in "recharging" because we believe it's not only the right thing to do, but is also good for our business. Just like athletes, we know that how you recover = how you perform.

The second year of the Covid-19 pandemic saw many large organizations very publicly offering additional recovery time for their people—and they needed it! We believe that if company-wide recovery time is good enough for the big tech companies (Bumble, Hootsuite, and Hubspot to name a few), it's good enough for us! We're in this for the long run and we want to build a sustainable business that supports the mental and physical health of everyone on our team. We believe in the benefit of unplugging, focus time, professional development, connecting as a team and having fun, and this program is our way of ensuring that nothing gets in the way of that.

By planning ahead and communicating effectively we continue to deliver our client's projects without compromising quality or timeline. In fact, we believe that by unplugging and recharging we are actually better equipped to serve our clients at our best.
